Hi again,

Phew. I believe the hurricane has ceased. Jenny Craig is giving us a break – after more filming with Bre’ly, Rebel Wilson, and a big shoot with a big star – and our very own ‘Lawrence’. I got to write and direct these little comedy spots – but alas a contractual disaster means our work is unlikely to make it to the TV. Oh well. It was an amazing experience, our biggest Wombat shoot ever – in size of crew and budget, and I got to glimpse why people get seduced by ‘directing’. Being in charge is kinda fun.

The actress was very gracious, and a brave soul. I am grateful to her.

Oh, we also spent a day with Mel B (Scary Spice). We shot some ads for the Australian and UK markets with Mel – who went on Jenny Craig, lost her baby weight, and looks amazing. Seriously – amazing. And she’s lovely. I got a hug from a Spice Girl at the end of the day – one more thing to scratch off my bucket list.

Now that Jenny is resting – it’s time to move forward with Wombat projects – starting with the website, and some comedy scripts. Time to get into the scripted TV world. Stay tuned.
